Llangorwen - all beaches

This beach is incredibly huge. It's extremely welcoming to dogs, as we encountered numerous furry friends during our visit. The dunes provide a delightful pathway to stroll through, although it can be challenging if you're carrying a lot of things. The dune area is teeming with rabbits. There's a stretch of rocks, perfect for collecting and painting, followed by a spacious beach since the sea is quite far out. However, during our second visit, the beach was filled with jellyfish of different sizes, which deterred us from taking a swim. If you happen to be in the Aberystwyth area and prefer a softer sandy beach, I highly recommend this one.

Boasting over three miles of pristine sand and towering dunes, it's a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The breathtaking Welsh landscape is on full display here, showcasing the region's natural splendor at its finest.

This beach is a fantastic place to unwind and I feel nostalgic about not being able to live here anymore. I make it a point to visit as often as I can, and I always encounter friendly locals. It's definitely worth stopping by.

Witnessing the starling murmurations is a must-see experience during Winter, especially at this beach where you can witness up to 50,000 of these birds gathering under the pier. It's important to dress appropriately and bring along some protection from the elements, as the sheer number of birds can result in a significant amount of droppings. Nonetheless, the spectacle is worth braving the weather for.

This stunning beach with breathtaking views and an abundance of fascinating wildlife. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the vibrant and diverse array of birds, including Oystercatchers, Lapwings, Curlew, Purple Sandpiper, Mediterranean Gull, Stonechat, and Wheatear, as well as the charming and elusive Chough. With its natural beauty and captivating wildlife, this beach is truly a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

The first beach is relatively uncrowded compared to the second one, and it's just a short distance away. Additionally, it's longer and features numerous pebbles with diverse hues and forms. The Welsh coastline provides a picturesque backdrop, with charming houses in vibrant colors and verdant hills.
