Tywyn beach
10 Arnav Singhania

Tywyn is an exquisite destination that is sure to capture your heart. It's not a place that boasts about flashy attractions or endless activities, but it has a charm that is hard to resist. The beach is pristine and immaculate, and the locals are welcoming and warm. It's the perfect spot to unwind and recharge your batteries, whether you're traveling with your family or your significant other. So, if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, Tywyn is the place to be.

Fairbourne beach
10 Joaquin Perez (Liso)

This destination is a must-visit. Fairbourne is a quaint and peaceful town, with a limited number of amenities. The train service runs hourly, alternating between north and southbound journeys. You may opt to board the charming steam engine that will take you to the Barmouth ferry crossing in a matter of minutes. Alternatively, you can take a leisurely stroll to the beach. The beach is stunning, with endless stretches of soft sand. There is ample parking available for those who arrive by car. For those who prefer not to venture onto the beach, there are comfortable seats positioned alongside the wall. At first, there may be some stones, but these are likely there to break the tide.

Criccieth beach
10 Aurora Jameson

This beach is one of my all-time favorite spots. You can enjoy views of the castle ruins and take a leisurely stroll to the black rock. The beach itself is stunning and conveniently located near restaurants, cafes, and public restrooms. There is ample parking available along the front, although it is not free. While the beach is mostly rocky, there are sandy areas as well. During the summer months, there is a separate section designated as a dog beach.

Morfa Dyffryn beach

The beach offers of a great expanse of sand and though it's often crowded, one can always manage to find some space to soak up the sun. The water is shallow, making it perfect for a leisurely paddle. However, I only gave it a rating of four stars as the naturist section of the beach requires a long walk.
