We absolutely adore going to Pensacola Beach in Florida! I've been frequenting this beach since my childhood and recently brought my son along during our family vacation in Alabama. Despite the scorching heat, the ocean provided us with a refreshing escape, and my son had an absolute blast frolicking in the water. If possible, aim to park in close proximity to the restrooms for convenience. Have a great time!
This beach is a peaceful and isolated location that is loved by families. If you follow their example of wading into the water and casting your line, you can enjoy some great fishing. We even spotted manta rays this time, but they are harmless. The sand here is pure white and incredibly soft. You really must visit and see it for yourself!
When the seagrass isn't taking over, this beach is amazing. The entry fee is worth it for the convenience of having access to bathrooms, showers, and pavilions. Additionally, it's typically not too crowded so finding parking is easy. Unfortunately, the water clarity can be affected by the seagrass, as seen in the second picture from July 2022. It's a shame because this is my preferred beach. Hopefully, the water will clear up soon.
When we visited the beach in October, there was nobody around. However, we were let down by the dirty water caused by the storm.
Finding hotels in relative proximity to the beaches is usually fine. Many beaches have enough nearby accommodation, which gives good opportunities to choose the right place to stay.
