Varn Park

The Varn park beach is a practical and well-maintained destination. Its elongated parking lot ensures that every spot is conveniently located near a beach access point, and the lot itself is constructed entirely of concrete. The restroom facilities are modern and situated at the center of the lot. While it may not be as well-known as other beaches, it is a favorite amongst fishermen who flock there in the early hours. As the day progresses, the beach gradually fills up with sunbathers and swimmers.

We stayed at site 46, which is one of the few shaded spots in the park. It's peaceful and quiet, with the sound of ocean waves at night. It would be great to have a playground for the kids. We spotted a possum one night and a bobcat running through the bushes on our way back from the beach.

The beach was a sight to behold, despite the tumultuous weather. The waves crashed against the jagged rocks, creating a mesmerizing display of power and beauty. The sand pipers danced along the shoreline, adding a touch of whimsy to the rugged landscape. The rock formations were unlike anything I had ever seen before, making the journey to this beach well worth it.

Finding hotels in relative proximity to the beaches is usually fine. Many beaches have enough nearby accommodation, which gives good opportunities to choose the right place to stay.
