We had an unforgettable time sliding down the dunes on vinyl sheets and strolling through the shallow river. Although we were warned about the possibility of buried mines, we couldn't resist exploring the land formations. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Unfortunately, the food vendors along the beach were plagued by pesky flies, making it difficult for us to enjoy our lunch. Our guide expressed concern that we may not be able to complete the entire tour, but we assured them that we could skip certain destinations if necessary. These photos were captured in 2003, and it's uncertain whether the dunes are still accessible to tourists. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
