Playa Espadillo, although visually stunning, is unfortunately a popular tourist destination. The beach is overcrowded, especially at the south end where people from all over the world flock to visit Manuel Antonio Park. Parking is a nightmare, as parking hustlers demand money for a spot. Even if you give them a fair amount, they may still become aggressive. This is a common issue in Quepos and Manuel Antonio, but not elsewhere in Costa Rica. Despite this, the water is warm and the tropical environment is beautiful. However, it's hard to fully enjoy the beach with the constant crowds and parking problems.

Brett's portrayal of the descent to the beach is spot-on. The final leg of the trek may be challenging for some, but the reward is well worth it. Along the way, we were fortunate enough to witness a remarkable sight - a three-toed/fingered Sloth making its weekly descent to the ground to relieve itself. Such an occurrence is incredibly rare and made our journey all the more special. Upon reaching the beach, we were greeted by powerful waves and reminded to be cautious of the undertow. However, the breathtaking volcanic rock formations lining the Costa Rican coastline made for an unforgettable experience.

My visit to Manuel Antonio beach was truly remarkable. The journey towards the beach was accompanied by an abundance of monkeys and other animals that added to the excitement of the trip. The beach itself was adorned with pristine white sand and offered awe-inspiring views that took my breath away. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to witness such natural beauty.
