Every year I visit Rotary Cove & Goderich Beach multiple times. In spring, summer & fall, you have to pay for parking your car. But in winter, the parking is free. The restrooms & icecream shop are also closed in winter time. This beach is super gorgeous throughout the year. Whenever you visit, it will fill your heart with contentment. In winter time, the beach is almost empty & cold. Generally local old people & local kids seldom visit the beach during that time. But in summer time, the beach is so crowded that sometimes you drive around the beach area looking for parking. In summer time, the temperature is comfortable & you can swim in the water. Has kid's playground, shadow under trees, large stones, benches.
Lovely little beach! Great spot for a more quiet beach experience than a larger/more populated beach strip. Water was very clean and we enjoyed watching all the sail boats come and go. Parking is 20 for the day. Restrooms and ice cream shop. Will return for sure. They also have an accessible wheelchair/stroller mat leading down onto the sand. Only complaint was bathroom doors could use a hook to hang your bag/towel.
A very nice beach with lots of parking which is paid either by hour or for the day. The beach area is clean, the sand is nice, there's a belt of rocks that you need to cross before entering the water. The water is nice. The sunsets are fantastic
Beautifully beaches. Lots of parking. A nice boardwalk for a stroll or run with free exercise equipment facing the water. The beaches were spotlessly clean. There are stairs to the top of the hill that give you a good view after the workout climb. Make sure to pay for your parking. It is strictly enforced and not expensive. Plan to stay for a sunset. Tour downtown, it is a beautiful town.
Beautiful Lake Huron water with a lot of stone mixed with sand. Overall good, handy facilities, seasonal snack bar. Varies but when you go on the water it's like the first 10-20 feet has a lot of stone then sand. If you have tender feet wear water shoes. Also they now.have pay parking. I think it was $4/hr or $20/day
