Lovely beach in Carnelian Bay. View of the coniferous trees and hills is amazing. It's unique in the sense that it has pebbles and not the typical golden sand. There is a small cafè and water sports options to choose from. Better get a chair to sit here. Beach mat may not help. Pet friendly! Only drawback is that parking is very limited. We luckily found a spot on a weekday afternoon. Check out the video on my IG food and travel page @veggie_central
Fantastic little beach! It is all pebbles/rocks and dogs are allowed. I thought it was fantastic to bring my baby and get away from a majority of the tourists. My brother loved it for his first time at Tahoe
This is a fun little beach. Very popular since it’s dog-friendly. Kinda sad the dogs only get the rocky beach to have some freedom on but at least they have this one. A great place that’s easy to get to and park near where you can people/dog watch & socialize, or just park a chair and chill. The cafe on-site has keto coffee, yeah. The bathrooms are hit or miss, since they’re run by the cafe & not the park, so they close them up kind of early.
Great dog friendly beach. Can get a bit busy on the weekends so get there early to get a parking spot and a good spot on the beach.
Beautiful little beach that most tourists don’t know about. It’s mostly smooth rocks versus sand, but that can be a nice change of pace. There’s a delicious cafe- Waterman’s Landing- where you can grab a coffee, drink or nibble, plus rent a SUP or kayak. Great sunset spot. Love it!!
