Playa Manzano beste stranden

Our stay at Villa 8 in Roma Del Mar was far from enjoyable. The house may have been beautiful, but the location was incredibly remote and required a 4 wheel drive just to access it. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere with no access to any activities or attractions. While Natalia and Caroline were helpful with our accommodations, the lack of things to do made our stay unbearable. The only highlight was the restaurant where Mike and his staff made great pizza, but even their friendliness couldn't make up for the lack of options. To make matters worse, we lost a piece of luggage on our last day and Lars was the only one who could help us. While he did go above and beyond to meet us in town and retrieve our luggage, it was too little too late. The only communication we had during our stay was through WhatsApp, which was hardly a consolation. We were stuck in a beautiful house with nothing to do but stare at the amazing view.

We spent two weeks in Costa Rica and our favorite part was definitely our week at Opacifico beach. The beach and resort are both beautiful. Susanna, Luis, and Ian were fantastic hosts and made us feel special throughout our stay. The excursions, especially the bioluminescence night kayaking tour, were a lot of fun. We highly recommend spending your day relaxing in a hammock on the beach.

What a magnificent location! The vast expanse of the beach is simply breathtaking and offers an unparalleled experience. The serene atmosphere is perfect for indulging in some angling and catching some fish. This place is truly a gem of nature and a must-visit for anyone seeking solace and tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of life.

Undoubtedly, this beach may seem pleasant with its mild waves, but only during the dry season. One cannot overlook the unsightly sight of driftwood and scattered litter polluting the shore. Although there might be some relief from the scorching sun under the shade, the rocky perimeter of the bay is hardly inviting. Moreover, the sea appears to be rather shallow and uneventful.

I had the pleasure of residing in the luxurious Cabin #1 and I must say, I would definitely do it again. The abundance of natural beauty and the mesmerizing stargazing experience left me in awe. The sweet melodies of the animals in the background added to the already soothing atmosphere. The food was nothing short of exceptional, a solid treat for the taste buds. I embarked on the hike to Playa Quesera early in the morning, and to my surprise, I arrived before the staff did. It was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip so far.
