This Costa Rican beach retreat is truly enchanting. From the moment we booked, Jenny provided us with helpful information about transportation and the local area. The photos of the home do not do it justice - it is truly magnificent. Our family stayed for a week in February 2020 and enjoyed every moment. The home was well-maintained and beautifully decorated, and the cleaning staff was exceptional and friendly. While we encountered some ants, this is to be expected in the jungle. Lars and his team were quick to respond and take care of the situation, and it did not detract from our incredible experience. The pool was fantastic and the house setup was perfect for our family. We loved the BBQ Rancho area and fire pit, and the entire community was lovely. The on-site restaurant, Aroma del Mar, was stunning and the food was delicious. We spent two weeks in Costa Rica and our favorite part was definitely our week at Opacifico beach. The beach and resort are both beautiful. Susanna, Luis, and Ian were fantastic hosts and made us feel special throughout our stay. The excursions, especially the bioluminescence night kayaking tour, were a lot of fun. We highly recommend spending your day relaxing in a hammock on the beach.

This beach is truly exceptional, and the jungle bar offers a delightful selection of food and beverages. I would rate my experience as a perfect 10 out of 10. The ambiance is serene and the offerings are top-notch. Highly recommended.

The so-called "beach" resembles a stagnant pond more than anything else, with its lackluster waves and tepid waters. It's not the worst spot around, but let's not pretend it's anything remotely picturesque.

Let's talk about this beach, shall we? The waves are so chill, it's like they're taking a nap. And don't even get me started on the view - it's like a postcard come to life. Plus, there are shells for days and you can stroll along without a care in the world. But, and this is a big but, the entrances for vehicles are in dire need of some TLC. It's like they were designed to give your car a flat tire. And let's be real, this beach could use a serious clean-up crew. It's like everyone just forgot it existed and let it go to the dogs. And the sea? Well, let's just say it's not exactly winning any beauty pageants. But hey, at least you can still enjoy the calm waters and stunning scenery, right?
