This beach is absolutely stunning. Don't take any chances with your belongings - I made the mistake of leaving my items in a rental car, only to have them stolen. Be safe and keep your possessions close.
The beach has seen an influx of campers in recent years, with some staying for three or more years. However, there is still hope that other beaches will remain relatively untouched and still offer an enjoyable experience.
That place is a decent alternative to Maspalomas, but it's a bit of a trek to get there. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the car park or bus stop, and there's a bit of climbing involved - nothing too strenuous, but it can be tiring. The north wind is blocked off by the cliffs, but it's still not the most sheltered spot.
This place on Gran Canaria is definitely the place to be if you want to relax and feel free. Nudity isn't required, the currents are calm, and it's family friendly. Make sure to bring an umbrella, water, and food, and you'll be all set to enjoy the warm, soft sand. There's a bus stop nearby, and if you have a car, there's a parking spot a short 5 minute walk from the main road.
Maspalomas is the perfect spot to soak up some sun in peace and quiet. With plenty of parking, it's easy to get to, and there's also the option of taking a leisurely stroll from the 500. If you're looking for a spot to relax, you can lounge on the soft sand or find a secluded spot among the rocks, where you can listen to the sound of the waves crashing. Although there are no facilities, it's a great spot for snorkelling.
