I was taken aback when I returned to the beach after a four-year absence and saw the changes. It had become a commercial area with lots of shops and didn't have the same tranquil, natural Spanish beach atmosphere as before. It all depends on what you're looking for in a vacation.

The signs clearly state that no pets are allowed at any time of the year. I've taken my dogs for a walk here before and was scolded by the authorities. The only option is to take them for a stroll on the pathway at the rear of the beach, and only with a leash. Friends of mine have also been reprimanded by lifeguards for walking their pooches along the beach during peak season, and some German friends were even fined. If you want to take your furry friend for a walk, it's best to go to Palomares/Villaricos instead.

This location is a great alternative to the busier beaches of Mojacar. The sand near the sea is incredibly soft and inviting, and the beach is easily accessible. It's a beautiful spot to spend the day!

We stayed for one night at the beach and there were signs not to park. However, if you park at the back where the tree line is, you don't block the view of the sea. The police passed by a couple of times, but there were no issues. During this time of year, there were only around five other motorhomes there. It was a beautiful and peaceful spot right on the sea. There were a few bars in the area and we would definitely come back since it's not far from our house. As for the comment from the person saying good riddance, motorhomers are responsible and respectful, so it's unfair to blame just one group of people. We take our rubbish away and never empty our toilet waste at the beach.
