From the beach to the tropical rainforest. It's only a short walk from Playa Negra and you’ll begin diving into the rainforest. First crossing an old cacao farm. Then you’ll pass three humble huts of indigenous families. One hour in you'll be in the depth of the forest. This jungle has species of plants and shrubs with healing properties. A wide variety of palms and giant trees over 250 years old. About 2 hours in you’ll be approaching a great surprise. Descend to the KEKOLDI river. Following it until we encounter an imposing 45 meters high waterfall. Enjoy swimming and appreciating the tropical jungle at this secret and remote place. After enjoying this magical, it’s time to head back to the start. You should know we will be walking in the jungle, so you might get some mud on your shoes. Parque Nacional Cahuita has the largest system of Coral Reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colorful tropical fishes and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or sting ray. This beach has a horse shoe shape, with the entrance of the park at one end and beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. We start with a scenic 20 minutes boat ride to have two snorkeling sessions. This is a package of three activities where you can discover what Tortuguero has to offer, plus it also has a breakfast and 2 hours of free kayaking The first activity is the canoe tour, starting at 6 am and lasting 2h 45 min. On this trail it is very common to see white-faced monkeys, bird snakes and sloths. The last activity is a night walk at 6:30 pm and lasts approximately 2 hours. Our tour will take you 2,400 meters of fun and adventure where you will travel the wonderful trails of Nativo, full of flora and fauna. In one of the sections of the aerial route we will have the possibility to make the descent from a platform to the ground with the Tarzan swing. Add another twist to the adrenaline and try our Superman cable, for a little extra!* It will slide for 450 meters at a height of 90 meters, at its highest point, in the same flying position as the famous superhero. We have 6 cables + 1 to perform a test and receive instructions, the platforms are which we launch from one point to another for each cable are 2 platforms in total are 6 cables and 12 platforms where we start and finish each cable.
