Parque Nacional Cahuita has the largest system of Coral Reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colorful tropical fishes and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or sting ray. This beach has a horse shoe shape, with the entrance of the park at one end and beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. We start with a scenic 20 minutes boat ride to have two snorkeling sessions. Then we get drop off at the Punta to enjoy a nicely presented fruit and snacks break at the beach followed by a 1.5 hour/3.5 kms guided hike in this wonderful coastal forest : monkeys, sloths, birds, iguanas and other interesting encounters are common and complemented with great info from your guide. After pickup at the pier, a short drive will take you deep inside the tropical rainforest of Costa Rica. Along the way, our professional tour guide will explain many facts about our country, including history, economy, biodiversity, politics and many other aspects more. Once arrival to Veragua rainforest, get ready for explore a pristine ecosystem. You will stroll along easily accessible trails to the tram. You will then enter an open-air gondola system that will take you through the primary rain forest past 300-year-old trees and down to the riverbank. You will then walk the Trail of the Giants, so named for the huge trees lining the riverbank or op to hike on the Puma Waterfall trail. Ride the tram to the top station and visit the biological research station. After Veragua, visit Tortuguero Canal. The canals that lead to the Tortuguero National Park begin in the Puerto Moin sector, just 5 miles from the center of the Limon province. Here enjoy many wildlife species such as sloths.

Parque Nacional Cahuita has the largest system of Coral Reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colorful tropical fishes and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or sting ray. This beach has a horse shoe shape, with the entrance of the park at one end and beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end. We start with a scenic 20 minutes boat ride to have two snorkeling sessions. Then we get drop off at the Punta to enjoy a nicely presented fruit and snacks break at the beach followed by a 1.5 hour/3.5 kms guided hike in this wonderful coastal forest : monkeys, sloths, birds, iguanas and other interesting encounters are common and complemented with great info from your guide. We will then have breakfast and drive to the Sloth Sanctuary where you will learn about them, their lives, nutrition and anatomy. In addition, a canoe tour through the channels of the Sanctuary where you will see the beautiful nature and animals. An unforgettable experience!

Our tour will take you 2,400 meters of fun and adventure where you will travel the wonderful trails of Nativo, full of flora and fauna. In one of the sections of the aerial route we will have the possibility to make the descent from a platform to the ground with the Tarzan swing. Add another twist to the adrenaline and try our Superman cable, for a little extra!* It will slide for 450 meters at a height of 90 meters, at its highest point, in the same flying position as the famous superhero. We have 6 cables + 1 to perform a test and receive instructions, the platforms are which we launch from one point to another for each cable are 2 platforms in total are 6 cables and 12 platforms where we start and finish each cable.

You will be able to participate in part of the preparation process. Also will learn the details of the traditional way of cooking caribbean meals, and to select fresh ingredients that are locally produced to elaborate this meals. We will be speaking about the history and culture of the town. If anyone has a dietary restrictions, please inform it in advance to accommodate everyone. Vegetarians and Vegans are welcome.
