After circa 50 minutes ride the boat arrives at the southernmost point of Istria - park of Nature Kamenjak, where cliffs and underwater caves can be found. It’s possible to swim with our guide inside the cave (30 minutes). The ride continues around “Porer,” the former Austro-Hungarian lighthouse, built in 1846. Afterwards a meal which is served on the boat : you can choose fish, tuna steak, meat or vegetarian. Drinks are included in the price. Last but not least, we cruise towards the private island “Ceja” on which you will have a two or three hours stop for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling and where you can find a local restaurant-bar. What makes my truffle hunting adventure unique? It od a real truffle hunt, not just a demonstration. Guests experience authentic truffle hunting in the forest together with trained dogs. We also keep our groups small — a maximum of 10 people — to ensure a more personal, intimate, and authentic experience. Truffle is an unusual subterranean fungus. There are two important varieties of truffles: white truffle (Tuber Magnatum) and black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum). Both of these can be found in the Motovun forest located in the valley of the Mirna River. Even though truffles can be found elsewhere, Motovun truffles are considered to be of the highest quality.
