Once we pick you up from your hotel, we will drive to the north part of the island, where we start with Salamis, founded by Teucer, in 1180 BC. We will visit the theater, the spa, and the gym. Here is where St. Barnabas was born and killed, the saint who had accompanied St. Paul during his journey through Cyprus. We will continue to the medieval city of Famagusta, whose mighty walls symbolize the city’s glory of its historic past and the need to defend itself against attacks from enemies. Next, we will visit the Cathedral of St. Nicholas (converted into the mosque of Lala Mustafa Pasha) in which, at the time of the Lusignani, the coronation of many of the rulers of Cyprus and Jerusalem took place. We will have the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets of Famagusta and see from the outside the citadel and the tower of Othello. Our sit-on-top kayaks can be used by individuals, under 100 kilograms, with no experience for a fun exploration of scenic coastlines in Cyprus. In this trip, we start and finish at Limnara beach, nearly 3 km east of the Ayia Napa Sea Caves complex. If the water is calm, we enter 2 sea caves, 1 of which has 2 entrances. We also visit Lovers' Bridge. The water is usually crystal clear. Max four kayakers at any time (plus the guide makes three). Usually the sea is calm before midday. If the customers agree, in case of forecasted choppy sea, instead we kayak around south of Green Bay towards Cape Greko and back (if the weather is expected to be bad everywhere, we cancel the trip).
