We spent one night at the Trokadero Boutique Hotel in Itea. Our room had a lovely view of the beach, and it was delightful to sit on the balcony and take in the beautiful scenery. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. However, the bathroom was not pleasant - it was small, unclean, and the exhaust fan was not functioning properly, resulting in an unpleasant odor. The receptionist was very friendly and promptly came to our room to address the issue. She sprayed some air freshener, but it wasn't enough - the bathroom needed a thorough cleaning. On the bright side, the breakfast was amazing and left us feeling satisfied. The beach itself was fantastic, and we enjoyed relaxing on the sunbeds while sipping on aperol spritz. The service at the beach bar was good, as they provided us with water without us even having to ask. All the staff members at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, even offering us advice on places to visit and where to go shopping. If given the opportunity, I would definitely return to this hotel.
I stayed at Trokadero in early May and had a wonderful experience. The room was very nice and the cleaners did a great job keeping it spotless. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the breathtaking view from the bedroom balcony. Additionally, the breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. They offered Greek yogurt, honey, and aromatic preserves, as well as enormous succulent local olives. They also had plenty of the usual breakfast options. While the hotel was slightly more expensive than others, it was definitely worth it for the amazing views and peaceful location. Right outside the hotel, there was a sheltered bay where some people were swimming. The water was full of fish and crystal clear. The hotel is conveniently within walking distance to Itea paralia, nightlife, and some great restaurants that overlook the twinkling Corinthian gulf. Looking back, the only thing I regret is not discovering this place sooner.
Trokadero Hotel After not traveling for three years, we finally made it back to Itea and stayed at the Trokadero Hotel. The reception staff was incredibly friendly, as if we had just been there a month ago. They even remembered us. Our car had its own parking area right behind the reception. Once we caught up with the staff (who also remembered us), we were given a particularly beautiful room (302). Despite the current circumstances, the room had been creatively finished and taken care of. The balcony had an amazing view and the beds were comfortable. In the morning, we enjoyed a perfect breakfast with the same personal friendliness. Later, we spent time on the terrace by the sea, on the beach, or a little further away from the water, enjoying the incredible views. While we could have gone into the center of Itea for drinks and dinner, we chose to dine at the Trokadero Tavern located next to the hotel. The food was delicious. In summary, Trokadero is the perfect place for us to start or end a trip to Greece (this time we stayed for 5 nights). Trokadero Tavern Why bother going to the center? Whenever we stay at the Trokadero Hotel, we always prefer to have dinner at the adjacent Trokadero Tavern. The staff there is exceptionally friendly and welcoming to the guests. The restaurant is located in a wonderfully quiet area and serves fresh, honest dishes that are incredibly tasty. We highly recommend trying the fried zucchini, but the kalamari and souvlaki are also not to be missed. And to top it all off, the house dessert is absolutely delightful. With such a nice restaurant right next to the hotel, why would we bother going to the center of Itea?
Wow! This hotel is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view of the sea! The room and the entire hotel have a modern and tasteful decor. The balcony in the room is absolutely charming. The breakfast consisted of delicious local cuisine and the lobby is also quite nice. The service provided was excellent, and everything was clean, comfortable, and peaceful.
It's a nice place to stay! We visited in January, which is not the peak season in Greece, so the hotel wasn't fully booked. Unfortunately, we weren't able to reserve a room with a sea view. The hotel's location is great and they do have parking available, although it can only accommodate a maximum of six cars and it's not covered. The room itself was clean and comfortable, although we did have a minor issue with the card and had to use a regular key to access the room. The room had hot water and basic bathroom amenities. The breakfast provided was simple but included in the price, and it wasn't too bad (coffee, tea, juice, cheese, meat, bread, eggs...). The service at the hotel was pleasant.
