In about 30 minutes we reach Spianata Castelletto, where the city opens into a mosaic of roofs, sea and light. After lunch, through the pass of La Ruta, overlooking the Mount of Portofino, we reach Camogli by car, visit of the picturesque old town and at around 3:30 pm we return back to Genoa along the coastal road, with a stop to the center before to back on board. Though your English-speaking driver can offer commentary while driving you around, they are not allowed to do so outside of the car.
