This beach resort is definitely one of my top choices in the area. I've been a loyal visitor for a long time and I'm confident that if you stay here for a few days, you'll absolutely love it! This hotel is fantastic, especially for families. It offers great comfort and the water park is a hit with the kids! I highly recommend this hotel, and the staff is incredibly friendly as well.
The rooms and the entire resort could use some tender loving care, and it would be fantastic if they could provide washer and dryer facilities in the rooms. The food could definitely be improved, especially by offering more authentic Mexican cuisine. While they attempt to offer American and Italian dishes, I must admit that they are not the best. On a positive note, I thoroughly enjoyed the activities offered in the pool area. Additionally, the Michael Jackson dinner and show was a highlight for me.
Americans are extremely active and move quickly. They have exorbitant undisclosed charges! They attempted to bill us $2714.00 in resort fees in US dollars. The lobby is pleasant. The beverages lack strength. The all-inclusive package only includes three meals per day and a snack at the same restaurant, with limited choices. The drinks were not potent. We ended up only consuming tequila and champagne. It is advisable to explore downtown or the hotel district instead! Avoid this option, as there is nothing in the vicinity.
This place was quite nice. We stayed at the Air B&B located across the street, and we were able to enjoy their amenities. What's great is that there's actually an underground passage, so you don't have to cross the street! On our side, there was a water park for the kids, while on the beach side, there was a small game room with ping pong and pool tables. The food and dessert were good, although I do wish they had ice cream available! The beach itself is small and tends to have a lot of seaweed. However, they are constantly cleaning it throughout the day. They also have a small gift shop and a nice pool bar, and everyone is friendly. The drinks are good too! Remember to tip your servers and enjoy your time here!
We recently spent four days at this resort, which was likely considered top-notch about 20 years ago. However, it has clearly fallen behind the times. The quality of the food is subpar, even at the supposedly upscale restaurants that require reservations. It was a major letdown. The drinks are also diluted, although not all of them, but most. On a positive note, the room was incredibly spacious, and I have no complaints about that. The pool was also enjoyable, and the beach was decent despite the abundance of seaweed. I've included pictures of one of our room towels (which had holes and was very worn out) and my coffee mug from the cafeteria. Keep in mind that you have to order coffee through the waitresses, and that's the mug I received. The best aspect of this hotel is the staff, who are extremely polite, friendly, and accommodating. However, I don't plan on sleeping in the reception area or having breakfast there.
