Trade the beach for the mountains for a day. San Sebastián del Oeste is a centuries-old silver mining town and Pueblo Mágico in the Sierra Madre: cobblestone streets, white colonial walls and a quiet plaza with a bandstand. On the way up, your guide shares the history of Mexico. You'll stop at a hacienda that makes its own artisanal tequila for a tasting, then at a family coffee farm to see organic coffee go from plant to cup. The Wixárika people are one of the Indigenous cultures originating in western Mexico, recognized for their profound spiritual relationship with nature, the land, and their ancestors. You will take part in a Wixárika Blessing Walk, guided by Santos Hernández (White Deer), a local spiritual guide, where knowledge and tradition are shared in an authentic and respectful way.
