An introduction tour to the area, I will give you a general idea of the lay out of our town identifying important spots in our destination, excellent view points for nice pictures and time in our main square, where besides checking on the church we will visit a (weavers) looms shop where you can buy from a little napkin to a big table cloth obviously made by hand, part of the tour is to give you a sampling of the different flavors of Oaxaca like: mole, chocolate, string cheese, salsas, grasshoppers and specially a huge range of mezcal flavors and qualities. We welcome you into our home with open arms! Immediately, you will feel part of our family and our traditions. We begin our welcome, the same way my abuela did with me, with hot chocolate and pan. I love to share my stories and traditions of my culture with you. Classes can be in spanish or english. Our class will take place in our beautiful outdoor kitchen, located on our terrace. You will learn to prepare food and cook in a traditional Oaxaqueña kitchen, called a brasero - a traditional brick stove, with open fire. We will get busy in a hands-on cooking experience where you will learn to prepare appetizers, traditional drinks, salsas and main dishes. In the culmination of our hard work, we will share in a group meal around the table with food, drink, stories, laughter, love and of course, mezcal. We look forward to connecting with you over food and flavor; one of my cultures oldest traditions.

The tradition of the day of the dead in Oaxaca is something you have to live at least once in your life. It is only the 31st of October evening and we have few places available. We will visit 03 pantheons of the most important: General Pantheon, Xoxocotlan Pantheon and Atzompa Pantheon. The pantheons open their doors for family, friends and visitors to enjoy this tradition that is one of the most important in Mexico. Music, food and tradition is what awaits you. Meet the pantheons with local guides, who know and will give you all the details of this tradition. We will be small groups for each group to have their transport with their operator, tour guide and coordinator. everyone will be aware of every detail. We will have a meeting point, where the vans will be ready with their group name and their day of the dead offering: flowers, bread, chocolate, candles and mezcal.

Embark on an excursion where you will visit only Hierve el Agua, a set of two waterfalls that have been petrifying for millions of years due to the calcium carbonate mineral solution in the water. The tour goes directly to Hierve el Agua as the only stop. We will stay at the site for 3 hours to allow ample time to enjoy the natural wonders of Hierve el Agua at a leisurely pace. Learn about the history of Hierve el Agua, a set of petrified waterfalls distinguished by their white color and their height of over 200 meters. BRING CASH, $70 pesos entrance fee and at least $200 pesos to buy snacks; they do not accept cards. Remember to have breakfast beforehand, or bring a boxed lunch since we will not be making any stops. You can buy food inside.
