Our Tenerife beach is a real gem - it's tricky to get to, but the views are worth it! The sand is a dark, thin type, and you'll usually find there's no one else around. We'd highly recommend it.
The beach has been shut down due to a massive rock fall, but it was a peaceful spot if you were brave enough to go. Clothing was optional, but you had to be wary of the waves and the falling rocks. The entrance was located on the left of the green gate.
This secluded beach is a great spot to take a break and relax in the sun. It's only a 20 minute stroll from where you can leave your car, so it's the perfect place to get away from it all. The heat of the day is perfect for soaking up some rays, and the scenery is stunning.
This beach near Barrio Antonio Afonso is tucked away in a picturesque cove, surrounded by steep cliffs. The sun only reaches it in the afternoons, so it's not the ideal spot for sunbathing, although the view is breathtaking. The sand is black and soft, though it can be tricky to get off. The waves are usually quite strong, so it's a great spot for surfers.
That place is a paradise for those who enjoy a challenge. The black sand is stunning, and the water is surprisingly warm - even today. The waves are big and the shallow waters extend for dozens of meters. However, the auto navigation is a bit poor and you will need to take a 15-minute walk through a steep, narrow goat-path. But don't be discouraged, because the effort is worth it - even in bad weather.
