This beach near Baltar is truly amazing! It's so clean and inviting, and the inflatable water park is a blast! You'll have hours of fun playing in the water and enjoying the sunshine. It's the perfect spot for a day of relaxation and fun.
A great spot for an evening stroll, with the salty air, a stunning view, and the twinkling lights of the city, 10/10.
This location is a paradise for families, with its 600 meters of soft, south-facing sand, providing a safe and secure environment for kids to play. You can also park with ease and find a shady green area nearby. In the summer, you can rent all sorts of beach equipment and even a giant inflatable attraction. Plus, there are beach bars and restaurants, as well as kiosks selling handmade crafts. Sadly, due to the pandemic, showers are not available, but hopefully this will change soon. This beach is also home to a magnificent yacht club.
The beach in Portonovo is anything but idyllic. It is enclosed by a jetty, making it eerily quiet. This summer, there is an enormous inflatable in the water, which is far from calming. The bathrooms are passable, but there is no shower to be seen. There is a beach bar, and plenty of places to rest, but it's not a place to relax.
If you're looking for an ideal beach for families with kids and groups of friends, you won't find a better spot than Portonovo. Not only does it have a green flag almost all the time, but the waves are usually pretty mellow too. Plus, the beach is certified for disabled access and has the largest Inchable Water Park in Spain, as well as sailing, diving, paddle boarding, canoeing and much more. Plus, you can save your cash by visiting Portonovo instead of Sanjenjo, and there's a beach promenade with plenty of sales booths to pick up whatever you need.
