We had made a hotel reservation for a couple with a baby, but upon arriving at the room, we realized that it was not accessible with a baby stroller. To reach the room from the lobby, I had to carry the stroller up about 30 stairs, and then another 40 stairs to get to the pool and breakfast area. We requested to be moved to a more accessible room so that we could enjoy our vacation without having to carry the stroller up and down the stairs all day. The hotel staff informed us to come back the next morning so they could find a solution. The following morning, they offered us an upgrade to a villa at a very high price. Then, they suggested moving us to a different room for an additional fee, which had fewer stairs to reach it but was still inconvenient for us with the baby stroller. Feeling dissatisfied with the situation, we asked to check out of the hotel. However, they refused to credit us for the remaining four nights of our stay. Disappointed with their response, we had no choice but to stay at the hotel. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, but the lunch and dinner options were not tasty and overpriced for Thailand. I must mention that the service at the beach was excellent, as were the massage services available there. Although the room was relatively old, it was very clean. Based on our experience, we do not plan on returning to this hotel.

The Surin is truly a enchanting resort situated on a stunning beach. Instead of being a large single building, the hotel consists of individual cottages, providing a genuine sense of privacy. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and extremely comfortable, equipped with excellent amenities. Although the food and drinks may be a bit expensive, they are of high quality and offer a wide variety of options. The only minor drawback is that the cottages are located on a relatively steep hill with numerous steps. If you are not particularly physically fit, I would suggest paying a little extra for a deluxe room, which is much closer to the beach. This hotel is truly exceptional, and I will definitely return in the future.

The Surin is practically flawless. We went on a family trip with my wife and three teenage kids. We booked a beachfront cottage and a one-bedroom cottage. This beach is most likely one of the best in the world. Keep in mind that nothing is perfect, but this beach comes pretty close. The staff, service, atmosphere, pool, recommendations, and so on, all closely follow suit. Since The Surin is situated on a hillside, there are steps, but that's no secret. Just take advantage of the buggy service and it won't be an issue at all. I could go on, but we couldn't find any faults. One thing that stood out and is a definite must is the one-hour massage, which deserves a perfect 10/10 in every aspect. Thomas, you lead an amazing team. Thank you from Team Herbert in New Zealand.

I would definitely recommend this hotel! The staff was amazing. When we left, my husband accidentally left his favorite watch at airport security and didn't realize it until we arrived in Bangkok. Without hesitation, the hotel promptly arranged for someone to retrieve it from Phuket airport, despite the longer distance. They even took care of the customs process and sent it back to Germany as quickly as possible. We were extremely grateful for their exceptional service! Furthermore, the beach is absolutely stunning!

During our recent stay at this resort, we had the pleasure of staying in a lovely hillside cottage with our 4-month-old baby. The service provided by the staff was truly outstanding. Our cottage was not only charming but also meticulously clean. Thanks to the convenient club car service, we were able to navigate the property effortlessly, without any concerns about the stairs. The staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond by checking on us every evening and even surprising us with a delightful cookie. The service we received at both the pool and beach was exceptional, but the real highlight of our stay was undeniably the incredible à la carte breakfast and the delightful buffet.
