I absolutely adore this beach. It's truly a one-of-a-kind destination where you can enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices. The locals here are incredibly warm and friendly. The only reason I can't give it a perfect rating is because occasionally, the beach can become a bit untidy due to some locals or tourists leaving trash behind. Additionally, there is some algae present along the shoreline. Nevertheless, I highly recommend visiting this place because the water is absolutely stunning and tranquil. Just a heads up, if you're a surfer, this might not be the ideal spot for you. However, there are plenty of beaches in Tola and San Juan that can cater to your surfing needs.

The beach was completely covered in garbage - plastic bottles, bags of various colors, styrofoam cups, paper plates, glass beer bottles, diapers, and all sorts of imaginable items. Unfortunately, there is no enforcement of garbage disposal regulations at this location! Local visitors bring their food and drinks in well-organized packages, only to leave everything scattered across the beach, hoping the tides will eventually wash it away! This situation deeply saddens me as it appears to be a cultural issue. Unless a governmental agency intervenes to address this problem, the landscape of Nicaragua will continue to deteriorate! It is crucial to launch a comprehensive public awareness campaign, and if necessary, implement fines and community service to change people's behavior!
