One of the most beautiful islands for a day trip from Phuket. Nice snorkelling, coral fish, tortoises. Better rent a private yacht or sailing catamaran from Star Sailing Club for a day trip. Also you can see dolphins family at the south-east side.
We booked a private tour to visit this island as we wanted to stay away from the usual crowded places. The island is privately owned and has a non-working hotel which was badly damaged during the tsunami. It is currently being renovated. We could clearly see the damage the tsunami caused. The island itself is beautiful. While exploring we found an area where there were loads of sea cucumbers. Overall we had a fantastic day.
