The beach offers a breathtaking view with crystal-clear waters. It provides a convenient parking lot and a designated camping area. Exploring the scenic paths allows you to witness exceptional sights. Remember to bring your beach shoes for a comfortable experience. It is located approximately 10 km away from the town center and around 60 km from the city center. Just be aware that there are no amenities available.

The place is incredibly beautiful. Initially, I attempted to take two different paths, but both of them seemed to end abruptly. I didn't have the courage to turn back, so I continued until I reached the viewpoint that you can see in the photos. From there, you can access the lower cliffs. It's a relatively new discovery, and when I visited, there were only 4-5 people at the bay point, probably due to the holiday season. Generally, most people hang out on the beach side. I wouldn't recommend relying on maps for directions to the bay, as they will take you on a detour along the main road, resulting in a 59-minute walk. Instead, you can easily reach the cove by taking a short trek from Seyrek beach through the tent camping area.
I was feeling adventurous and decided to travel here by public transport all the way from Istanbul. Yes, it was a long journey, but it was definitely worth it. I'll provide my own opinion on the pros and cons later, but since most people don't typically come here using public transport, I should mention that the only issue is that the bus from Kandıra center to Seyrek only runs every 1.5 hours. I believe this is due to the route going west to Pınarlı after Seyrek beach. If you're considering public transportation, you can check the KM11 bus schedule online.
Pros: + The view is stunning
+ The water is crystal clear for swimming
+ You can set up a tent
+ It's not crowded
Cons:
- Some visitors leave behind litter. For instance, I encountered a toilet along the trekking path
- It's a bit remote for a day trip, especially if you're not staying in a tent or in Kandıra. However, I firmly believe it's definitely worth the effort.
That's all I can recall for now. I'll organize it accordingly later on ☺️.
