Love, love, love this place 🥰 Gorgeous sandy beaches, you can walk in from Hengestbury Head which is a beautiful walk or take a ferry boat from Mudeford or Christchurch. Such a great day out with all the beach amenities you could want. Drinks, food and toilets or even hire a beach hut. Highly recommend for a family day out or relaxing couples weekend ❤️

Σπίτι στις πολυάριθμες παραθαλάσσιες καλύβες, με το ήρεμο λιμάνι του Christchurch από τη μία πλευρά και τη ανοιχτή θάλασσα από την άλλη. Δεν υπάρχει μηχανοκίνητη κυκλοφορία εδώ, εκτός από τον ήχο των φέρι με κινητήρες ντίζελ που φέρνουν επιβάτες από το λιμάνι του Mudeford ή το λιμάνι του Christchurch (2 μίλια πιο πάνω). Φαγητό, καφές, μπύρες, παγωτό κ.λπ. Όλα καλά.

During busy times, finding parking can be quite challenging due to the presence of double yellow lines everywhere beyond the designated car park. However, there are a couple of other car parks indicated off Bure Lane that provide access to the beach, albeit away from the cafe/restaurant located on the actual Avon beach. Once you reach Avon Beach, you can easily walk onto the sand from the car park without encountering any obstacles such as steps, making it accessible for disabled individuals. The sandy beach is quite extensive, offering plenty of space away from the concentrated crowds near the restaurant/cafe and toilets. Additionally, there was an ice cream van available that offered pastries, and there might have been the possibility of tea/coffee, although I cannot confirm this. From the beach, you can enjoy good views of the western tip of the Isle of Wight. Furthermore, the beach also provides interesting vantage points and is great for walking, especially if swimming is not your preferred activity. As you continue along the beach, you can enjoy views towards Mudeford and Hengistbury, adding to the overall appeal of the area.

Η παραλία είναι φανταστική, ιδανική για καβούρια. Ο Θορυβώδης Αστακός και οι άλλες τοποθεσίες του είναι εξαιρετικές. Απλά να είστε προσεκτικοί με τα ρεύματα.

Πέρασα υπέροχα περπατώντας κατά μήκος της παραλίας, ποτέ δεν είχα δει τόσες πολλές παραθυρόσκηνες συσσωρευμένες μαζί σε ένα μέρος πριν! Ήταν τόσο όμορφο να περπατάς κατά μήκος της παραλίας με κανένα αυτοκίνητο επιτρεπόμενο πουθενά. Πήρα το φέρι για το Μιούντφορντ Κέι μόνο με £4 επιστροφή, ένα γρήγορο ταξίδι 10 λεπτών όπου αγόρασα λαρίδες για £5 το βαζάκι και μερικά νόστιμα μπριζόλες σφυρίδας για μια ψησταριά αργότερα εκείνο το βράδυ. Ήταν μια όμορφη μέρα έξω, αλλά μπορεί να γίνει αρκετά πολυάσχολο τα Σαββατοκύριακα.

Αυτή η παραλία είναι ένα κρυμμένο διαμάντι που οι περισσότεροι τουρίστες από την εξοχή δεν το ξέρουν. Είχαμε την τύχη να μας δείξει αυτό το όμορφο και γραφικό σημείο ένας ντόπιος φίλος.
