If you're local or visiting North Wales and are looking for something a bit different to do. Then you can now book your own personal photographer. Please message me for a full size, extended portfolio. These photoshoots are not your typical high maintenance, exotic beach and beauty shots. If anything, a bit of normality and even mud is encouraged! I keep things super casual and approachable for everyone. That's why my shoots are typically centred around a dog walk but if you don't have a dog, don't worry. The idea is we all go for a walk together and I run around getting those beautiful candid photos of your pets, your family and friends. Exactly where we go is flexible. There's an abundance of walks here in and around Betws, long and short, so I'm happy to discuss a route before we meet up. That said, I must insist, I am NOT a professional mountain guide, so please don't pitch the north face of Tryfan when you have zero equipment or experience in the hills.
Rock climbing and scrambling is the ultimate adventure that takes you to the most stunning places on the biggest cliffs. It is a different world with a vertical horizon that will blow your mind! Are you new to rock climbing or looking to improve your skills? We can help you become an independent climber, mountaineer, and explorer, just like the ones you see on the telly. Our courses are tailored to your objectives and previous experience. They range from one to four days.
Climb the rocky cliffs, abseil down the vertical walls, conquer your fears and learn/ improve your skills. One of the oldest and most renowned adventure sports in the UK which continues to gain popularity. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber we offer a range of adventurous climbing experiences. All our instructors are experienced rock climbers both across the UK and overseas and will offer personal coaching tips to help you become better, more efficient climbers. All under 18's must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Our Mountain Leader guide will deliver this true mountain day, 14km and 900m of ascent, to the summit of this world-renowned mountain by a lesser-known path. A truly amazing mountaineering experience that is, with the help of the guide, available to novices through to old-time adventurers alike. With Snowdon being popular its paths can become very crowded indeed. However, the path we will take for the ascent only ever has a handful of walkers and midweek we'll have it to ourselves! This is remarkable as Snowdon is quite rightly the most visited mountain peak in the UK. This allows our tour to the summit of Snowdon to be a relaxed event with a true flavour of isolation. The descent is 'off piste' and follows the escarpment edge, with, weather permitting, dramatic views straight down into the valley below and across to the slate town of Llanberis.
Conquer Snowdon under the stars with a guided night walk led by Tony Lowe Mountaineering. Starting from around 01:30 AM, this journey takes you up Snowdon at a friendly pace, ensuring you reach the summit 30 minutes before sunrise at 5:15 AM. Capture unforgettable moments with a photo at the top as the day breaks. After the descent, enjoy a well-deserved breakfast at a local establishment. Perfect for adventurers and nature lovers alike, this experience combines the thrill of night hiking with the beauty of a sunrise over Wales. - Guided night walk to the summit of Snowdon - Start your ascent from 01:30 AM - Reach the summit just in time for an unforgettable sunrise - Enjoy a post-hike breakfast at a local venue (extra cost)
Betws-y-Coed is Britain’s first artists’ colony, nestled at the entrance to Snowdonia National Park. On this self-guided walking tour, you’ll stroll down this village’s charming streets, riverside paths, and historic bridges to find out how this woodland paradise inspired generations of landscape painters. The tour starts at the historic Betws-y-Coed Railway Station. As you explore this picturesque settlement – meaning “prayer house in the woods“ – you’ll find out how painter David Cox established Britain’s first art colony here in 1844, forever changing the Welsh village’s fortunes. Other landscape artists, unable to travel to Europe during the Napoleonic Wars, soon discovered its dramatic beauty and, as railways brought Victorian tourists, the once-peaceful artist haven evolved into the gateway to Snowdonia we know today.
