This beach is a charming little spot with soft sand. It's quite small, only taking about two minutes to walk from one end to the other. The water isn't crystal clear, and at times, you may find some weeds along the shoreline. There are five single picnic tables and two double picnic tables, all of which are covered. Additionally, there is another covered area where there should be an additional picnic table. These covered areas are situated on concrete slabs. Restrooms are available for visitors. Towards the northern end of the beach, there is a short boardwalk that meanders through the trees and leads to the Roger Batchelor Pier. It's a delightful local beach, especially suitable for children, as there are no hazardous rip tides or sudden drop-offs. Unfortunately, it's disheartening to see that some thoughtless individuals leave their trash behind.

I dropped by to check if this beach was a suitable spot for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming. However, I won't be returning to this beach due to its small size, limited parking, and the unpleasant presence of pollution caused by people. The seaweed that was mentioned has washed up on this beach, emitting an unpleasant smell. The beach clean-up effort seems to involve simply raking the sand and pushing it towards the park's edges. I also walked over to the fishing pier, and I fail to comprehend why individuals feel the need to leave their fishing trash on the dock. It's important to note that you are not a fisherman!
