Lower Matecumbe Beach: Κοντινότερες παραλίες - 4 σε ακτίνα 13 km

During our spring break, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beach. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable vacations we've ever experienced. The resort and accommodations were absolutely delightful. The rooms were well-maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely outstanding! It truly felt like a dream come true.

The resort is absolutely stunning, with a magnificent beach and pool area that includes a delightful hot tub. The dock extending into the ocean is truly awe-inspiring. The restaurants for breakfast and dinner are quite good. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the surrounding area. The best part is that they offer complimentary kayak and paddle board rentals! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and we appreciated that our room was tidied up daily without even having to request it. This was especially nice since we had our two and a half year old son with us. It was exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for!

We arrived on a Sunday to find the office closed, as it shuts at 11 on Sundays. Although the key was left for us, there were no towels provided for the pool or beach. The room felt outdated, and we even found a Cliff bar on the floor, which raised concerns about the quality of housekeeping. Despite calling the hotel's phone number multiple times and leaving messages, we received no response, not even the following day. When we finally spoke to someone at the office, they mentioned an emergency number posted on their door. Perhaps it would be more helpful to include this number in the rooms or on the website where guests are more likely to see it? Additionally, a very loud and large family was staying there, monopolizing the beach area both day and night. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Παλεύω με το πώς να γράψω αυτήν την κριτική... Από τη μία, θέλω να κρατήσω αυτό το μέρος μυστικό, ώστε να μπορούμε να το έχουμε πάντα για τον εαυτό μας, αλλά από την άλλη, δεν θα ήταν δίκαιο για το προσωπικό και το ακίνητο. Το λατρεύουμε απολύτως! Τα δωμάτια είναι απλά τέλεια! Είναι απίστευτα καθαρά και καλά επιπλωμένα. Η διακόσμηση είναι εκπληκτική. Οι χώροι είναι άψογοι και καλά φροντισμένοι. Το προσωπικό είναι εξαιρετικό! Μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας από τη στιγμή που φτάσαμε και μας αντιμετώπισαν σαν χαμένους φίλους. Αυτό το θέρετρο είναι τόσο άνετο, φιλόξενο και χαλαρό. Είναι σίγουρα ένα μέρος στο οποίο θέλουμε να επιστρέψουμε και βρίσκεται στην κορυφή της λίστας μας με τα «must-visit-again»!

Αυτή είναι μια υπέροχη ΑΠΟΜΑΚΡΥΣΜΕΝΗ παραλία. Καλή για απομονωμένες επισκέψεις και έχει μία ράμπα για paddlers για να ξεκινούν. Επίσης, υπάρχουν τουαλέτες στα δωρεάν πάρκινγκ. Υπάρχουν επίσης πavilions για πικνίκ (δεν ξέρω αν χρειάζεστε άδεια). Υπάρχει μια ωραία μεγάλη πλατφόρμα που ενώνει και τα δύο πάρκινγκ. Δεν υπάρχουν άλλες παροχές εδώ. Αυτή δεν είναι μια οικογενειακή διακοπές 'ας περάσουμε μέρα στην παραλία' καθώς οι περιοχές της παραλίας είναι πολύ μικρές και δεν ενώνονται μεταξύ τους. Πρέπει να περπατήσετε κατά μήκος της πλατφόρμας για να μετακινηθείτε από τη μια στην άλλη. Αν θέλετε μια παραδοσιακή εμπειρία παραλίας, πηγαίνετε στο Sombrero στο Marathon.
