You will then be escorted around the South Beach area which is considered the down-front district of the island, it is loaded with shops, restaurants, bars, attractions - and ghosts! We will have a restroom and cocktail break at a family friendly restaurant which has a haunted background and a lot of history. Please be advised if you would like to wander the sandy beaches to look for shades and shadows, pets are not allowed on the beach “unless it is a service animal”. Come aboard the River Explorer conveniently located on River Street in downtown Savannah, as the crew embarks on sightseeing eco-tour of the Lowcountry! On this tour you will make your way down river passing the containerships heading up river to the Port of Savannah.

The riverboat, the Georgia Queen, can hold up to 1,000 passengers and another riverboat, the Savannah River Queen, can hold up to 600 passengers. You can expect to cruise with at least a couple of hundred other people.  You will need to swap your Viator voucher for a boarding pass in the ticket office prior to boarding. Boarding begins 60 minutes prior to sailing time.

Join our fully narrated 90 minute dolphin/sightseeing tour from the Jekyll Wharf as we travel the scenic waterways of beautiful Jekyll Island to observe the magnificent bottlenose dolphins feeding, playing, or simply cruising about in their natural habitat while you learn about their social behavior, feeding habits, and much more. The waters around Jekyll are home to one of the world’s largest populations of these beautiful creatures. Our tour will take you along the intra coastal waterway, salt marshes and wilderness beaches. Along with seeing Dolphin there are often sea turtles, manatees, egrets, herons, roseate spoonbills, and osprey plus shrimp boats and luxury yachts. Our comfortable boats are US Coast Guard and certified for 49 passengers per boat, are equipped with a sun cover, MP3 Stereo and a bathroom. All our Captains are Master Mariners with years of experience in the local history and ecology of the pristine Georgia Coastline. Please arrive 20 minutes early, Let's go!

Travel to Tybee Island via trolley/bus for lunch on your own at the Crab Shack where the Elite Eat in their bare-feet. Board the boat for a Dolphin Cruise through Tybee Island’s-waterways.  After the Dolphin Cruise we will stop by the Tybee Island Lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for a photo opportunity before returning to Savannah. Admission to the Lighthouse or Museum is NOT included in the price of this tour.

See Savannah by land and water on a guided city trolley tour followed by a sightseeing river cruise.
