Ashen's Beach is located on the Laccadive Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 156th place out of 235 beaches in the Sri Lanka region 100.6 km away from its center, the city of Colombo. It is one of the beaches of Owakanda settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a straight coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

It's conveniently situated right by the beach and the overall ambiance is truly remarkable. If you happen to be there during sunset, you'll be treated to one of the most breathtaking views."
