Plaza Slana is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 43th place out of 70 beaches in the Lika-Senj region 26.2 km away from its center, the city of Gospic. It is one of the beaches of Metajna settlement, just 3.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Plaza Slana (Lika-Senj) is located outside the Metajna settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.
