Mamey beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 11th place out of 22 beaches in the Matanzas region 8.6 km away from its center, the city of Matanzas. It is one of the beaches of La Marina settlement, just 3.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
