Matanzas - all beaches

To those who have given 5-star reviews, please reconsider before doing so. Your reviews greatly impact those who rely on them. This has been the worst experience we've ever had, despite having been to Cuba multiple times before. The rooms are extremely unpleasant, old, and emit a foul odor. Every room has leaks when it rains. There is a severe lack of essential items such as towels, alcohol, food, and entertainment. There are barely any activities available. The service may be rated 2 stars, but only for a few waitresses. The food is absolutely terrible, and we are barely managing to survive here. We have never wanted to return home from a vacation before, if we can even call this a vacation! It feels like such a waste of time and money. We are incredibly disappointed, especially since we booked this resort based on other people's reviews. Please, we urge you not to make the same mistake!

This is the most incredible island and beach I have ever laid eyes on. It's an exceptionally stunning place, with a diverse range of species. It offers an excellent opportunity for bird enthusiasts to indulge in some top-notch bird watching. I cannot recommend it enough.

The beach is absolutely stunning, with calm and warm waters. It feels like being in the Maldives with all the palm trees around.

This beach is truly exceptional! The tranquil waters and soft sand make for the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The picturesque scenery and refreshing sea breeze create a serene atmosphere that is simply unmatched. It's no wonder why this beach is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this beach for an unforgettable experience.

The staff was very friendly and the beach was amazing. The food was decent, not top-notch, but it was very tasty with freshly grilled pork and chicken. There were entertaining shows every day and the Piña Colada was fantastic, along with other nice drinks. The rooms were good, with a nice shower, but you couldn't adjust the room temperature as the air conditioner defaulted to 22°C. The resort had a nice infrastructure with hammocks, outdoor beds, a great pool, and the beach was just a minute walk away. The water was amazing and there were comfortable chairs available on the beach. The wifi was decent and there was a great cappuccino at the coffee bar. The only downside was that if you wanted to visit Varadero city, you had to take a free bus transfer as it was a bit far to walk.

The beach was an amazing experience with its golden, fine sand.
