Palmilla beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 1th place out of 246 beaches in the Dominican Republic region 127.9 km away from its center, the city of Santo Domingo. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Catuano settlement, just 5.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth.
