La Plageolle is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 53th place out of 59 beaches in the Bouches-du-Rhone region 25 km away from its center, the city of Marseille. It is one of the beaches of La Ciotat settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The beach stretches on the coast of the Verte island, but accessing the beach requires traversing some distance on foot. Alternatively, a taxi can be used to drive directly to the location. Public transportation is another option, but it's important to confirm the correct route with locals beforehand as the bus stop may be located at some distance.
