Neas Iraklitsas is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 64th place out of 185 beaches in the Thrace region 95.5 km away from its center, the city of Komotini. It is one of the beaches of Nea Erakleitsa settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.
It is a long bay with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.
