Makris Gialos beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 53th place out of 503 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 170.2 km away from its center, the city of Korfoe. It is one of the beaches of Lassi settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and brown fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area.
