Glass beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 326th place out of 503 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 14.2 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Giannades settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
