Kamari beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 106th place out of 503 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 16.4 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Liapades settlement, just 2.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
