Pirate beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 271th place out of 503 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 24.8 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Aphionas settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
