Candidasa Beach is located on the Bali Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 91th place out of 160 beaches in the Bali region 41.6 km away from its center, the city of Denpasar. It is one of the beaches of Candidasa settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

"When I visited the beach in September, it was practically deserted since it wasn't peak holiday season. It was a pleasant change to have the beach all to myself. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to do besides taking in the scenery. It was disappointing to see that the beach was quite littered."
