Pinetina Sud is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 22th place out of 69 beaches in the Grosseto region 18.5 km away from its center, the city of Grosseto. It is one of the beaches of Castiglione Della Pescaia settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area.
