La Secca is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 9th place out of 21 beaches in the Potenza region 78.3 km away from its center, the city of Potenza. It is one of the beaches of Castrocucco settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small several bays coastline with blue water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
La Secca is fully occupied by beach clubs with restricted entrance. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
