Scalea Beach is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 20th place out of 76 beaches in the Cosenza region 68.8 km away from its center, the city of Cosenza. It is one of the beaches of Scalea settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
