Capannizza Beach is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 57th place out of 374 beaches in the Sassari region 98.1 km away from its center, the city of Sassari. It is one of the beaches of Limpiddu settlement, just 1.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
