Cala Luna is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 1th place out of 68 beaches in the Nuoro region 27.4 km away from its center, the city of Nuoro. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Cala Gonone settlement, just 6.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.
It is a short straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.
