Sasso Galletto is located on the Lake Maggiore and it is in the 34th place out of 36 beaches in the Varese region 19.4 km away from its center, the city of Varese. It is one of the beaches of Casere settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
